DESCRIPTION:The Poetry Society of Texas Annual Awards Banquet is November 8th at the DoubleTree Hotel – 4099 Valley View Lane – Dallas\, TX. You do not have to be a contest winner to attend. All are welcome and encouraged to come. This is a chance to gather with poetry friends for a tasty luncheon and enjoy an afternoon of award winning poetry. First\, Second\, and Third place winners will be announced. First place winners\, if present\, will read their poems.
