Sandi Horton, co-founder of the Heart of Texas Poets Society in Waco, presented a program telling about the romance of Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning and their eventual elopement. She read a few of their love poems before describing the beautiful Armstrong-Browning Library on the Baylor Campus which houses extensive manuscripts and items which belonged to the Browning’s. She concluded with a few poems of her own, some of which were inspired by special programs in the building.
